File share on w2k server.

I have a windows 2000 server that houses a couple of shares for macintosh users. I am currently getting Event ID 12017 Desktop database for volume "xxxx" could not be loaded. Reconstructing the database. in the event log on the server. Now the users can't access the share. Any suggestions?

Do you have sp4 installed on the server? It has a lot of mac fixes.

Thanks for the help Dodge this seems to only have been a temporary condition. The desktop catalog must have took a little while to reconstruct.
