File / Save As hangs system

I have 75 Pentium III 500 computers which hang during File / Save As from Word or Excel. The motherboard is a SE440BX-2, Viper V770 video card. I have loaded Windows98 multiple times, with and without other software being loaded. All 75 computers are experiencing this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
