Hi

I am trying to deploy some reports into some folders in CE 9.0.But when I tried to do it through Publishing wizard I am getting the error and it says." File Repository Server error : Failed to communicate with server Input, server is down or disabled."

When I installed CE9.0 it did not installed a database on my machine, I have sqlserver on my machine and I have 2 servers connected at that time on my databse.
I didn't find the APS databse. Then I Phisically created a database by name APS in sqlserver and
I created a dsn APS and then I pointed the the APS services to the DSN.And it created some tables in the db.

Please correct me if I am doing some thing wrong.
Is that caused a problem.
Please advise

Thank You
Venu

Hi,
In the Crystal Configuration Manager are all the services
up and running? Are they all enabled?

Did you start the APS first and then the services?
What does the Servers tab in the CMC tell you about the file ( input and output) servers..

Thanks a lot for your respsonse,
I manually enabled all the servers like cache server and
page server and job server in CMC.
But My WCS I tried to enable it's still coming up as enable false.I was able to deploy the reports and access them from eportfolio.Any Ideas will be helpful.
Thanks a lot once again.

Hi,
Check the event log on the server to see why the WCS is failing --

Any error messages when you try to enable it?

Note:startup sequence should be:
APS
WCS
all the others in any order.
