I was going to use something else to replicate data between two server but might as well use FSD. However, not quite understanding. I as expecting a way to specify the location on my local server (where to replicate) i.e. \\server1\junk replicate to \\server2\junk. However, in server2 I'd like to replicate to a different partition. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

DFS is complicated to explain in the context of a forum like this.

Can you describe your environment and what exactly it is that you want to do, including about and types of data, and maybe we can help you decide on the best solution? DFS might not be it.
