File Redirection

I have a share on a server that has reached EOL. I have been robocopying the share files to an alternate machine. What is the best way (most transparent to users) to allow the share name to remain the same but redirect the users to the new storage space?

Utilize Folder Redirection and when the option comes up to copy the current contents to the new location, choose Yes. This should change the folder location and copy the contents to the new location.

when you set folder redirection on GPO, only keep those file at shared server not local Pc.
