file properties checking

Hi!
I am a newbie here and I do not know about VBscript(except it can manipulate files).

I use JScript, but now I need to recognize the date of last-created file in a specified folder. I need to do this from HTML page.

Can anybody help me writting the script which I can embed in HTML page?

Thanks! But this link points to "Working with Drives, Folders and Files in ASP". I am asking for VBscript which can build into HTML file. I do understand nothing about VBscript. I need a function which
1. use param1=foldername
2. checks all files in folder
3. returns the bigger(latest) date of file creation (date of the younger file)

Is it possible to write this part of script for me which I will be able to put in HTML document. I suppose it will be 15-20 rows long.
