I just installed a Belkin 4-port cable router so that I can share my internet connection with my iMac OS9.x system and Windows XP computer. Although I have absolutely no problems sharing the internet connection, I cannot figure out how to share printers and files between the two computers.

Specifically, I have 2 printers connected to the WinXP computer (one parallel, one USB) and want to share those. I also want to share files (folders) between the 2 machines (I do this quite easily with the network at work which is 100% Win98).

Has anyone had any luck doing this or can offer any assistance in getting this up and running? I am relatively new to the OS9 system but I'll take whatever tech-talk anyone can offer.

Thanks in advance.

Was hoping there was an inexpensive (read: Free) Appletalk solution.

Any ideas?

Samba is 'free' in OSX, not in 9

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
