Hi,

I am sure that this question has been asked in the past, I have gone through the forums and cannot find anything that is really that helpful.

The problem...
- I want to be able to setup a shared directory that gives users/groups the ability to view, append, and execute files and folders. But I do not want the users or groups to have rights to delete and modify data.
- What I have found thus far
-- I can deny rights to delete, but I am having a hard time find a right for changing data.
-- Also, append does not seem to be doing anything. I setup append, but the file is compeletely open to changes, not just appending information but changing existing data.

If anyone has a link to or any know-how on this, the help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.
