When I try to save some files I get the "File Permission Error" Message, then I noticed that the file is "Read Only". I must use another name to the file, I look at the Windows Explorer and I found a file named:
filename.doc.in2
I have seven users with that problem.
I am using Office 2000 Small Business with Windows 98.

Any comments? Thanks for your help

The file permission error with the read only usually means another person opened it first and still has it opened at the same time you open it.

If that isn't the case, I'm not sure what the problem is.

I hope I never get too old or arrogant to learn something new!
