I always add the special field 'File Path and Name' to the bottom of my Crystal reports. On some workstations, this is being displayed in the MSDOS format for long filenames. For example, I have a report called 'OE Open Orders' - on most workstations, this is displayed correctly as 'M:\Reports\OE Open Orders.rpt', on a few workstations however, it is displayed as 'M:\Reports\OE Ope~1.rpt'. All of the workstations are XP, so is this controlled by a regional setting or something?

Thanks - I read through that post when I searched for similar problems - however, I don't think it answers or applies to my problem. The reports are being saved with the full filename - it's merely the value that is shown on the report when using special field 'File Path and Name' that differs from one workstation to another.
