IS-IT--Management
Hi folks,
A couple of general questions really,
1. What is the best way to organise the files on my Mac Hdd? At the moment i have one account which is admin and the one i use from day to day. It is encrypted using file vault. The problem is that i have lots of video and audio that is being transferred, manipulated, deleted etc continually -i also, do not want this to be encrypted, i have tried putting it all in the shared users folder, but iTunes is having babies now that i have changed it's "home library". Any suggestions on how to organise my Hdd effectively? -I am still in the Windows mindset although i now prefer my mac hugely, albeit after 12 months of searching for replacement apps and other ways of doing things.
2. Where is all of the cached stuff stored? in my user's account library? I want to 'clean' my hdd are there any apps for doing this or an easy way to do this manually, i am not worried about loosing settings.
ps. i am using 10.3 if it is not apparent!
Thanks in Advance,
