file mkdir problem with network path

When trying to create the folder TEST in the shared folder SHARE1 on server SERVER1 using the TCL command "file mkdir \\\\SERVER1\\SHARE1\\TEST" I end up with folders SERVER1\SHARE1\TEST under the shared folder SHARE1. I tested this with wish80 & wish84 and got the same results. I tried numerous combinations of \\ & / and got varying results but never the correct ones.

I would greatly appreciate a solution to this problem. Thanks.
