file missing/Corrupt after reboot

hi

in my vb program, i am Creating/Copying the files.
But some times the new created files are missing or
Corrupt after rebooting the server its creates found.001/002... in c drive of the server.

OS is WinXp and 6 pcs are in the network,
i tried with formating the pcs but same problem existing.
some times files are getting corrupt after copying through network

plese help me
