Hi, we are trying to determine if filemaker pro is the right app for the office. Is Filemaker pro enterprise level? Can it work with SQL? Thanks, jbead

It sure is.

Filemaker is ODBC compliant and there are a lot of companies that use it in their enterprise; Holt, Reinhart and Winston, The Body Shop and Wizard World.com to name a few.

Between it's ease of use, quick deployment, multi-platform (mac and PC) plus web publishing - makes FM Pro a good choice. (See for information of the different companies I mentioned.)

I have setup FM Pro for one company's workflow, currently 35 databases. And I will be completing the integration to Quickbooks in the near future.

Since FM Pro is ODBC - it will communicate with SQL. There is also information and freeware to help you with the integration.

Hope this helps.
