Hi,
We are working on a network which has Windows 2000 sever as the Domain Controller and all the clients have Windows XP.
We have created a shared folder on the windows 2000 Server to share files.
Our problem is that when we access a file which is in use by other consultants we get the message that the file is locked by the Administrator.
Ideally we should get the Domain Login ID of the person who has locked the file.
As the team size is around 50 we are not able to find out who has locked the file and this is really a pain area.
What could be the problem?
Please help.
Regards,
Mahesh Sankpal.
