File Lock Conflict

Trying to access a software on a W2k server.The application is on Oracle databse. License is for 5 users, but I get FILE LOCK CONFLICT on third attempt when trying to log on to the application from 2 different computers.

Taking the current programme folder and move to another w2k server, everything is OK

Are there some settings missing on the server ???

I have a 3 years old PC with dual boot Win98 and Win 2000, which I want to "clean" up, preferrably reinstall Win2000 only. I have lots of data and mail (Outlook) I want to keep.

Any good tek-tips in this resepct would be highly appreciated.
