File in use by . . .

We are using roaming profiles and if a file such as a Word .doc is in use by a user we will get the message, this file is in use by (username). Everytime the (username) is the username I used to create the roaming profiles. How can I get this to display the username of the user that is actually using the file? I am Windows 2000 sp4.

sounds like a file ownership issue... check the ownership on the users roaming profile folders as well as the file you're talking about (including the lockfile for the document)
