I've re-installed Apache onto my server and I now cannot open any pages in my browser without supplying the file extension. This is true for both .html files and .php files. For example I used to be able to type and this would open up the page, I now have to type or to open the page.
Can any body help?

This is normal for apache, you must fully specify a file.

You can work around it using mod_rewrite but its not standard usage.
