Hi
I received some page maker files over email that i need to send across to my printer. But my printer is having some problem opening the file...its extension says PMD..now what version has an extension like that??
I am really quite clueless about all of this..any help wld be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Subhashini

I *think* that is the extension used by version 7.0 of Pagemaker. Is this possible? V6.4 used the extension p65.

.pmd is PM7.0, .p65 is PM6.5.

If they have PM6.5, then just change the extension to .p65 on the doc and it should open no problem at all. The only hitches would be if the person that designed the doc used the new features such as including .psd or .ai graphics rather than .tif or .eps. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
