I host a website on my own computer and the speed has been fine for as long as I can remember but over the last few days it has been loading CSS and images really slowly even with low traffic - I've not changed any PHP coding as the previous coding loaded instantly before and I haven't changed anything since the good loading times.

Does anybody know of any reason why it would suddenly start going slow for css and images? I have been getting a lot of "File does not exist:" errors in the apache error logs even though the files do exist. Another thing I noticed is that when editing a site in Dreamweaver at the same time it will delete the css file I have used in Dreamweaver if I restart the Apache server - it's all very strange to me.

Please help!
