Hello,

I currently am using Dreamweaver 8. Does anyone know of an add-on or module that can be used with Dreamweaver for File/Document Management? I have numerous .pdf files in different categories. I would like to be able to upload them through a browse button, choose the category to list under, give a Title, .pdf icon, and have it automatically add to a table/list with the title and a download button for viewers to click on. Is there such a thing for non-CMS websites?

Thanks,
MonaE

not without some databse in the background...doesn't have to use full blown CMS but you would have to hand code this, and of course, depends on what language you use (asp, php, jsp).
There are free snips of code for simple ulpading but for categorizing you would have to build a small db behind it.
Either way, lots of leg work...so why not spend it building a databse driven system and be done with it vs. having to edit static html pages....
All the best!
