All day long I open files that I have been working on and always have to click the view to details when looking in a file. It defaults back to the list after I close the file. I have been in the window control panel and set all folders to details but when using illustrator or Photoshop they are always in the list view.

I hope I have explained this enough for everyone to understand so I can get some help. This is not only an annoyance but it slows down my production time throughout the day.

I'm using the Windows version of Illustrator CS3: clicking on 'use adobe dialog' on the bottom left of the open file window changes the view to details permanantly.

If you have it, Adobe Bridge is a decent file manager.

Thanks. I have tried that and it seems it slows down the system I will try that again though.
Thanks
