File Details Folder View Problem

This one is weird. I have two users on my network that cannot get a detailed view of files within a folder. I mean all the files vanish when the details view is selected. List and all of the others work correctly. Does anyone know how to get this option back?

reset folder options then reboot and select them again it worked for me

also make sure view as web is not selected or vice versa
