I am in the process of migrating an application from Novell to NT Server and have have a problem, when my application deletes a file, there is a noticable delay between the DeleteFile() and the file physically disappearing from the server. This is causing serious problems because the application tries to re-create the file immediately after deleting it, and crashes because the file still exists.
Is there a way I can configure either the server or the Win2000 workstations so that control does not return to an application until a deleted file has physically disappeared?
