file crashes InDesign CS when trying to open 1

Mac running 10.3.9 with InDesign CS 3.0.1. Everytime time I try to open file it causes the program to quit. Tried to open file on another computer and it did the same thing. Removed prefs, saved data. etc. Still no luck!

Is there a way to fix the file?

Was the file previously used on this computer or was it supplied from someone else?

I created the original file on this computer. The file is being saved over a network onto a PC based server. If that makes a dfference.

The program has been acting funny as well. I think I am just going to reinstall the program and recreate the file.

Before reinstalling trash the ID preferences. A clean prefs file with a new install can clean up a lot.
