File capture problems with 5ESS

I'm connecting via telnet through an Annex Terminal Server to a Lucent 5ESS with vt100 emulation. Below is an example of a file capture on a simple ls command (btw, 5ESS is based on Unix System V if that helps). My problem is that the capture only captures what is in the window when the capture is terminated. The first line below is static, everything below it scrolls up and out of sight. The scrollback buffer doesn't capture it either. Thanks for the help!

Are you sure the text is scrolling up and not being repainted? The way the capture file in Procomm works requires at least one line of text to scroll off the top of the display while the capture file is open, and then everything that did not scroll will be saved to the capture file when it is closed.

if you will look at my posting on terminal emulation the
same resolution will fix your problem. The 5ESS switch
changes the number of lines that are allowed to scroll.
by using my fix prior to starting capture you should be
able to get all data. knob comment is correct with respect
to how data is migrated to scroll back buffer.
