Is there a way to maintain/defragment the static file?
I only got 350 meg left on the same partition.
Why is there a failure on the .hlp file?

You need to place the Open File static option on a volume that has enough disk space.
Go to tools/Open File Option Wizard and configure the location and the minimum and maximum size.

I would say the failure is because the file is open and the open file option is not running at that point.

Optimum way of configuring OFO static volume:
1. Locate the static volume on a seperate physical harddrive from those drives you want to back up. Do this on your local server if that is all you are backing up AND on remote servers you are using OFO with.
2. If your total backup for a particular server is over 20GB, set initial size to 400, max=1000
3. If you cannot locate the static volume on a physically seperate disk, then the static volume cannot grow past the initial size set. In that case, the only setting you can tweak is the initial size.
