Howdy,

I am writing a file management application, and I want to allow the user to backup the files managed to CD.

Does anyone know of an API that I can use to do so?

I have found several components online that seem to do what I need, but they are rather expensive. Being broke sucks...

Thanks for any assistance,
onrdbandit

Note: I do not have Nero, thus cannot use their downloadable SDK/API.

Is this for CDR or CDRW?

There's no place like 127.0.0.1.

CDR... I can't forsee any reason to allow the user to re-write over data they previously determained was necessary enough to backup.

The only result could be to rewrite over something they didnt want to, so CDR it is.

Thanks,
