I have written an application which has several output files. A number of users have requested the ability to be able to run the program and load an output file simply by clicking on the appropriate output file.

I am not really sure how to do this, but I assume it could be done using a command line.

I would appreciate any advice. [sig][/sig]

Do you mean that you have several files that your application reads, but at the moment the user has to start your application and then somehow browse to the files, but they don't want to do that.

If you compile your program and add a shortcut to it in the 'send to' folder, you can then right click on a file and select send to your program. Then the name of the file that has been clicked will be sent to your application in the Command$ variable, so you can check to see if there is anything in this variable at start up.
