I have a text file with information that I used to connect to database.
How can I read this file into Servlet?

Thank you,

Renata

You should either make this into a properties file and then use the Properties class in Java. For a better solution put all of this information in the web.xml file as intialization parameters for the servlet or context parameters for the Web Application. Wushutwist

Servlets have too fiew rights for using files. Better is to use databases with jdbc interface to them. Ion Filipski

For future questions about Servlets I suggest you post in the Servlet/JSP Forum on Tek-Tips: forum695. You are more likely to get a quick response on a forum dedicated to the subject. Wushutwist
