File and Replication Monitor

Hello All

Can anybody help me out? In which group or where in the Server Document do I check, to add myself as a member to create File and Replication Monitors?

Not sure I understand you entirely, but security for monitors is under the security tab of the server document

Would that be under the follwoing: Security->allowed to use monitors? I see that there is a asterix (*) in the field. To me this means that all have access? Or am I off the mark?

This is the correct field, but there does seem to be a bit of conflict between the help underlying the Domino Admin client (Right click and hold over the field name) and the separate admin help database. The way we populate the field is to use a combination of groups, specific users and wildcards including certificates (*/ACCOUNTS/UK/COMPANY).
The Not allowed to use monitors field needs to be left blank (Unless of course you do want to specifically exclude users).

Well, the situations is as follows. The field does have the (*), yet I cant create a file or replication monitor. Do you hve any other ideas that I can try?

I'm still unsure as to exactly what * means on it's own in this field as all the help refers to using it in conjunction with certificates etc. I would try either doing this (*/ACCOUNTS/UK/COMPANY) or leaving it blank altogether (underlying domino admin help suggests that this allows anyone with access to the server to use monitors).
Don't forget you will need to restart your server for changes to take effect.
