File already in use message...how to recover

IT was a permissions thing, my network group will give me full access in that folder. I did not create that folder.
Troubleshooting....
Created a new folder on the nework, copied the database to it, then was able to run the compact and repair.
As you know the compact and repair removes the old MDB and creates a new one...so I did not have full RW....
Makes sense, but its kind of stupid...
