I am intermittently getting a "File access denied" error from a "READ TIMEOUT 120".

There are only two GET commands active and they are only entering data into memory variables.

I am running fox2.5(dos) on dos 486 pc's,
on a Novell 4.11 network.

There are about 40 users actively using the system.

Any ideas on what could be cousing this error.

You should use netware's utiities to see what is happening on the PC's at the time and see what files are open and who has access to them and in what mode.

Try doing some cleanup of temp files. Especially if they are located on the server. If they are on the hard drive, they could be cluttering things up too.
Also, verify the FOXUSER file isn't the culprit either by setting RESOURCE off, or making the app point to a local version.
