If we loose the primary clock source (T-1 Loop) will that eventually cause problems with my FIJI ring? In other words, does the FIJI ring count on the primary T-1 for clocking? Let's pretend we don't have a secondary T-1 clock source to keep this scenario simple.

no, the figi is content with internal (freerun) clocking. you get slips on working t's since they need an external clock source.. ie when doing tdm with a far end switch, we need to be on the same clock..

with no pri figi would run forever, the cpu/cni/forever would run just like any other lenux server.

So does the FIJI need the clock controller at all? I saw somewhere that the Clock Controller was updated from the QPC471 to the NTRB53 style, in part due to FNF.

Yes Fiji requires a clock - but as John stated - if clock is in free run FIJI will still be happy
