Figuring out how to connect Meridian 11c to Modem 2

I've seen the following in other posts and would like to know Detailed instructions on how to do this:

Verify your TTY is set up to match the same baud rate as your modem and you should be good to go.
How do you do this on the Meridian 11c switch??

What card are you connecting to because you need to set the dip switches on the card for DTE or MODEM type connection.
How do you verify this??

Three cable's in main cabinet, port0 is the main tty o. Look at dip switch settings on front of card,usually
9600, 8, N, 1. Other TTY ports get set in software in CFN LD 17
 
port 0 baud rate as stated is on the faceplate of the ssc (cpu) card.. and port 0 connects to a modem without a rolled cable or null..
