Hi everybody,

I have 2 fields in my report. (actually there are more, just for explanation is easier to use only 2)
The top one has to option "can grow" checked.
Underneath is the 2nd field.

If the top field grows (10 rows), this field is overlapping the 2nd field that was underneath it before.
Is there an option, so that when the first field grows the 2nd will move accordanly to the size of the first field ?

Thank you.
I'm using CR 8

Saying in your report isn't descriptive, state WHERE in the report. And it isn't easier to state that you have just 2, please be accurate, there are numerous threads here that started in just this way that turn into blogs because posters aren't willing to take the time to accurately describe their environment or requirements.

Right click whatever section the field is in and select insert section below. Now place the field below it in the new section.

If you need additional help, please post specifics, and include your software version.

If this is a detail section, insert another detail_b section and place the second field there. You can do the same with group sections.

LB: It doesn't matter if it's the Detail section, it should work for any section.
