fields not printing

i have a report that displays a couple of 'calculated' fields when viewed in print preview the fields are displayed, however when i print the report the fields will not print. if i reun a macro and send the report directly to the printer it will print with no problems at all.
does anyone have any idea what is causing this

You haven't provide enough detail. How are the text boxes calculated? If you are running code, it would help to see some of it.
