I have a form that contains multiple tabs (Tab control option). I also have fields that are not apart of those tabs (on another part of the form). I want to bring those fields into the tabs, but I have to delete them off my form first, then re-add them to the tabs. Is there a way to do this without having to delete then re-add?

thanks.

I suggest that you copy the controls from your form onto your clipboard, then select the page of the tab control where you want to paste the controls, and then paste the controls. If you want to retain the original names of the controls, then you should "cut" the original controls instead of "copy" them. If you are having trouble pasting the controls onto the correct page of the tab control, then select the correct page of the tab control by using the form's property sheet before pasting.

Yes. You can remove and paste. Select the controls and ctl-x in the usual way, then select a particular page of the tab control by clicking on the tab title, eg Page 1, then paste in the usual way.

And be aware that if any of these controls have code behind them, cutting and pasting them onto the tabbed page will "disconnect" them from their events in the underlying code module! You'll have to select the control then goto Properties and click on the Property in question as if you were setting it up for the first time. You'll be taken to the code module and can then return to Design View. The control will now be "re-connected" to its code event.
