I am a novice (1 year experience) database and Paradox person so please bear with me. I have a report that was orignilly created in an earlier version of Paradox (I believe it was version 8 but I am not sure.) We upgraded to Paradox 10.

The problem is that each time I run the report I have to re-define a couple of the fields in the group band. Since I have to re-run the report often... this gets pretty tedious.

Has anyone every had this problem? I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything remotely like this.

Thanks for replying to my question. I believe a lot of the problems I have on this legacy database is definitely due to corrupted information.

But in this instance... I think I have solved the issue. The button that generates the report is in the working directory and the report itself is in an alias folder. I opened the report in the alias folder, re-defined the fields and saved it there. So far when I run the report in the working directory, I have not had to re-define the fields... of course only time will tell.

-Thanks
