I'm working on a report pulling data in from an ODBC connection to a SQL database. I have some fields that show a duration of time in seconds. For some reason, when I add those fields to the report and run it, the fields are showing a larger amount of seconds. However, if I refresh the report, the fields show a lower (accurate) amount of seconds.
I made sure the option to save data with the report is unchecked and currently, my report has no formula, parameters, groups, or record selections - just added the duration fields in the details section and ran it.
Another thing worth noting - as long as I don't close Crystal Reports and have already refreshed the report to show the accurate data, I can close and reopen the report, run it and the duration fields still show the accurate amount of seconds and they don't change when I refresh the report. However, if I close Crystal Reports completely and reopen, the report shows the incorrect durations until I refresh.
My database guy said he doesn't think it's the database (or at least he's never seen this happen before). Any ideas????
