Fieldnames in Calculations and Conditions

When I create Calculations and Conditions the fieldnames inserted are the aliases used in the Catalog. However, many fieldnames are in many different tables so that when I go back to the Calculation/Condition I can't tell which table that the field I've used came from.

The aliases in my catalog appear to have been generated, it would have been good if the table name had been included but it hasn't and manually renaming tens of thousands of fields isn't an option.

Is there any easy way to tell which table a field came from?

Thanks.

Bruce

There are several ways to do this.
1. Create a content overview for your catalog, then Search for you condition or Calculation name to find its source.
2. Look in the catalog folders, click on the field, then click edit. A window will pop up with the name and the source of the field.
3. Put the field in your report, then look at your SQL.
It may be that none of these options are what you are hoping for, but those are the options I'm aware of in Impromptu 7.1.
