Field Tree is not Docking

Formula Workshop
Undocked the field tree, function tree and operator tree.
Can right click function and operator to "Allow Docking"
but no success on making "check" reappear for field tree.
Seems stuck in floating mode.

This happened to us. I end up calling Crystal Report technical support. Our issue was. . we had Crystal Report version 9 advanced on top of CR v8. We uninstall v.8 and we the problem went away.
