Field Object bleeding into Other Fields 1

I've created a Sales by Store report that contains a field called product description, which is a string. In some cases, there are multiple lines to the description. When viewing in CR, the field looks fine but when imported and viewed in CE, the field expands across the page over other fields. How can I prevent this??

You probably need to apply a service pack in CE.

Anyway, there are many reasons why a report might do this, but make sure that the field does NOT overlap any other fields, and you might even place it in it's own section (you can right click any section and select insert section below).

Hard to know as you posted nothing technical, not even the version of your software.

I've seen this behavior in the DHTML viewer. If you have long fields that you want to be fixed length, right click on the field and select format. Check the "Can Grow" box and set the field length value to 1. This will force CE to honor the field length and will not wrap to two lines. IF you WANT it to wrap, set the field length value to 0.
