Field Length Issue

I was given the task of providing a report in which I need to pull simple information from a table. To throw in a wrench, my field lengths are all 50 and each field in the report can only be a max of 25 characters. If a data field contains more than 25 characters, the rest of the data must be pushed to the next field. So, say the max was 5 chars per field, Address1 - [100 Main St.]would have to be converted to Address1-[100 M] Address2-[ain S] Address3-[t.] (now 3 fields).
Can that be done?
