I know there has to be an easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out. I have a table named Assignments that has 2 fields. ID and Assignment. The table is used for a combo box on a form. The Assignment field shows up in the combo box on the form like I want it to, but the ID field shows up on the report. How can I get the Assignment to show up instead of the ID?

it's cos you've bounded your combo box to the id field...

try putting 2 in your combo box's properties: bound column

Thanks for the input. For some reason that didn't work when I tried it. When I bind it to column 1, it shows up right in the combo box on the form and wrong on the report. It does the opposite if I bind to column 2. Screwey, huh?

Fortunately, I found the answer in the "DLookup with parameter" thread that was posted earlier today. I didn't see that thread before I posted my question.

At any rate, thanks for your prompt reply. This website is a life saver.
