Hi I am using crystal reports version XI release 2.

The issue is in the field explorer crsytal reports shows a Tick mark if a field of the table is used in the report.

If it is not used then the tick mark would not be there.

I want to know where exactly the field is being used in the report so that i can go and change that formulas/fields accordingly

any ideas...

Thanks in advance

If it is a field, I think you either have to export to "report definition" and then do a search for the field, or you have to manually search within the report by looking at the content of formulas, running totals, conditional formatting formulas, and an often over-looked area, the sort records screen.

If it is a parameter, you can change the datatype and it will create an error and take you to the places where it is used.
