Field Explorer won't dock to the right 2

I've done this before, and I'm even pretty sure I've seen the answer somewhere here on TekTips, but no amount of searching can find the answer today, so I apolopgise for any repetition!

My field explorer is usually docked on the right, I've managed to undock it, which would normally be just a case of right-clickling and docking it, however today it will only dock across the top of the report, no use to me at all.

Any help much appreciated

I have run into this problem a couple of times and it's usually when I am using dual monitors and my Crystal is on the left monitor.

If you are using dual monitors, move Crystal to the right monitor, maximize it, and drag Field Explorer all the way to the right and you should see the little outline that indicates where it will dock. Release the mouse button and it should dock.

If using a single monitor, maximize the Crystal window and drag the Field Explorer to the right. You should see the same outline as in the previous step. Release the mouse button.

I do have dual monitors, so with a bit of messing about and moving them around, I have managed to do as you suggested, and it is now back in place!
