Fiber termination

Pricing out a job. 24 Strand single mode. Just want to know what is a good price to terminate the fiber ends? Using sc connectors if that is important. Should I charge per hour or per strand?

most guys that i've hired charge per strand. about 20-40 per termination.
I stopped doing that, I now buy all my fiber preterminated, it has saved me alot of time and money.

That is one of the best ways to do it, since it is pretested and NO polishing needed! One other solution is to use preterminated pigtails, then using a fusion splicer attach them to the strands. There again, not having to deal with putting on connectors. Fiber Instrument Sales (fissales.com) has an excellent selection of fiber products.
