fiber termination kits/connectors

Hi I'm about to start a job that requires terminating fiber, mostly SC/ST connectors. I was looking into getting a standard termination kit and getting unicam connectors, but they're about $13.50 a pop...I was wondering if anyone knows what would be a good equipment setup would be as far as time/consumables cost/performance goes.

I think it is faster, cheaper and better to use pre-terminated pigtails and fusion splice them, that way you don't have to fuss with polishing, etc.

I went with the unicam pfc kit. I don't have a fusion splicer, they're a bit too expensive for me right now.

I suggest you to go with Levition Fast cure or Fis.Both are Good.

You don't have to own a fusion splicer, you can rent them!
