Fiber Station Module

I have a customer that has a bad fiber station module (9 of 16 ports are bad). If I swap it out for a new one, will the extensions stay the same? The amp cable is good, I checked it at the MICS. Should I turn set relocation off? TKS.

Yes. Turn "Set Relocation" off prior to the replacement.

make sure you coonect the new 016 card on the same madule on the fiber card ,

Set relocation should ALWAYS be turned off except when relocating phones!

Plugging in more than one set simultaneously with set relocation turned on can easily corrupt the entire data base!

Word to the wise:

If you have systems out there with set relocation turned on, turn it off before it bites you right in the ass!
